Terence possesses extensive experience in both buy-side and front-office sell-side in the capital markets space, enabling him to form well-rounded and holistic views. Prior to joining Alta, Terence has worked on major transactions through his stints with established financial institutions, including J.P. Morgan, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and United Overseas Bank, alongside executing corporate development and strategy initiatives with Singapore Press Holdings and Perennial Holdings, showcasing his ability to navigate complex markets and drive value. David has a decade of experience across investment banks – Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, and Nomura. Leaving banking in 2016, he founded 33 Capital, an investment firm focused on FinTech and e-commerce startups in Southeast Asia, and became aware of how difficult it was for private investors to find quality alternative investment opportunities.

Leveraging his wealth management and venture capital experience, he created a tech-enabled platform that would be the go-to resource for investors seeking private investment opportunities with attractive risk-return profiles. In 2019, he was named Top FinTech Leader by the Singapore FinTech Association and then Singapore Founder Finalist for the MAS FinTech Awards in 2020.

He graduated from the National University of Singapore as a University Scholar and also spent a semester abroad at the University of Southern California. Additionally, he holds a certification in FinTech from MIT. During his free time, he enjoys sports, wine, and traveling with his family.

Chee How joined Kenanga Investors Berhad (KIB) in September 2015, bringing with him more than 18 years of experience in investment research and analysis. He started his career as an engineer before joining the investment industry as a research analyst in a local investment bank. Subsequently, he worked as an analyst in Meridian Asset Management, covering domestic and regional equities. He then joined Pacific Mutual Fund as a Fund Manager, where he managed both local and foreign funds. Chee How graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University Technology of Malaysia. He is also a CFA charter holder. He obtained his Fund Manager Representative License in 2012.

He has with him 25 years of experience within the financial services industry with a vast experience in leading Asset Management Companies, Life Insurance Company, and Consumer Banks.

Mr. Ng held senior leadership positions in Manulife Investment Management (M) Berhad. Prior to that, he was General Manager and Executive Director of AIA Pension & Asset Management Sdn Bhd; Senior Vice President, Retail & Retirement Funds in AmFUNDS. He was under employment of Prudential Funds as the Chief Officer, Sales & Distribution. To add on, a Star Awards Bank Manager in Standard Chartered Bank.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Strathclyde in United Kingdom. Mr. Ng is a holder of Capital Market Services Representative License for Fund Management and he is a holder of Certified Financial Planner.

Mr Loh Jia Ying joined KIF in 2017 as an investment analyst. He was subsequently promoted as a portfolio manager in 2020.

Prior to this, he was a sell-side equity research analyst in Affin Hwang Capital, providing coverage on sectors such as banking, insurance and rubber gloves. He started his career in corporate finance before becoming involved in equity research.
