Daryl Liew is the Head and Chief Investment Officer of Investment Solutions at Phillip Securities. He oversees portfolio management, investment strategy, and asset allocation for the firm’s discretionary mandates.

Prior to joining Phillip Securities, Daryl was Head of Portfolio Management at SingAlliance, where he led a team of portfolio managers and chaired the firm’s Investment Committee. His previous roles include Chief Investment Officer and Head of Portfolio Management at Reyl Singapore, as well as Chief Investment Strategist and Executive Director at Providend Ltd.

Daryl is a recognised thought leader in Singapore’s investment community and regularly shares insights on global macro trends, equities, and multi‑asset strategies.

Currently serving as the Director of Origination & Execution at Alta Alternative Investments, Terence Chew spearheads initiatives in the alternative asset sector, leveraging his extensive experience to identify, curate and structure investment opportunities for Alta’s investor network.

Terence possesses extensive experience in both buy-side and front-office sell-side in the capital markets space, enabling him to form well-rounded and holistic views. Prior to joining Alta, Terence has worked on major transactions through his stints with established financial institutions, including J.P. Morgan, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and United Overseas Bank, alongside executing corporate development and strategy initiatives with Singapore Press Holdings and Perennial Holdings, showcasing his ability to navigate complex markets and drive value. His vast expertise and breadth of industry exposure underpin his value-add to formulate and execute high-impact investment strategies.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a specialization in Banking & Finance from Nanyang Business School, Singapore.

Market Outlook 2H’2026 – Sailing Through Turbulence

Chee How joined Kenanga Investors Berhad (KIB) in September 2015, bringing with him more than 18 years of experience in investment research and analysis. He started his career as an engineer before joining the investment industry as a research analyst in a local investment bank. Subsequently, he worked as an analyst in Meridian Asset Management, covering domestic and regional equities. He then joined Pacific Mutual Fund as a Fund Manager, where he managed both local and foreign funds. Chee How graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University Technology of Malaysia. He is also a CFA charter holder. He obtained his Fund Manager Representative License in 2012.

Lai Eu-Roy, CFA brings with him over 14 years of investment experience in multi-asset portfolio management, investment research, and advisory. He has led investment teams delivering cross-asset solutions tailored to institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth clients.

Most recently, Eu-Roy served as Head of Investments at AmInvestment Bank’s Private Banking division, where he oversaw advisory and discretionary mandates across equities, fixed income, FX, unit trusts, and structured products. He also spearheaded product development and regulatory engagement, aligning investment offerings with evolving market and compliance landscapes.

His prior roles include Senior Fund Manager at Eastspring Al-Wara’ Investments, where he managed institutional and retail mandates focused on Greater China, Asia ex-Japan and Malaysia equities, alongside equity research. He began his career at Bank Negara Malaysia, managing European equity and fixed income portfolios within the Central Bank’s foreign reserves team.

Eu-Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Iowa State University, graduating summa cum laude, and is a CFA Charterholder.
